Article 1.Definitions

Tulip Gift Cards:
The Tulip Gift Cards are vouchers in the form of a piece of printed paper representing a certain value. At affiliated shops and companies, the voucher can be handed in for certain goods or services.

The recipients can spend the gift card / gift voucher as they choose. The amount represented on the gift card / gift voucher has the same function as paper money up to the amount indicated on the gift card / gift voucher.

The provider:
The person who offers his products to meet the needs of another person, group, or organization.

The consumer:
A user who purchases a service or product.

The recipient:
Someone to whom something is handed over, ordered for, or given to.

Spending:
In everyday speech, expenditure is understood to mean spending on goods and services.

Payment method/Cash:
Something that can be used to pay, which is seen as a legal tender.

Article 2.Value

  • The prices on the Tulip Gift Cards are in SRD (Surinamese Dollar).
  • The Tulip Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • The Tulip Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for Gift Cards of smaller / larger denominations.
  • The full amount on a Tulip Gift Card must be spent.
  • The Tulip Gift Cards may not be purchased for a higher value than the value stated on the Gift Cards.
  • There are no additional costs when purchasing Tulip Gift Cards.
  • The value of the Tulip Gift Cards must be stated in letters on the back of the voucher.
  • Money is exchanged for the value on the Tulip Gift Cards.

Article 3.Terms & Conditions

  • The Tulip Gift Cards cannot be extended.
  • The Tulip Gift Cards may not be resold to individuals or organizations.
  • The Tulip Gift Cards, Tulip, and Amazone International N.V. may not be used for unauthorized advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes.
  • The Tulip Gift Cards cannot be returned.
  • Tulip or Amazone International N.V. is not liable for lost, stolen, or destroyed / damaged coupons. Even if it is misused by someone else.
  • The Tulip Gift Cards can only be redeemed at affiliated shops and companies.

Article 4.Validity

The Tulip Gift Cards have unlimited validity. *See warranty conditions.

Article 5.Warranty

The Tulip Gift Cards department guarantees that the goods sold are free from material, design, and manufacturing defects and meet normal requirements of reliability and usability.

The warranty expires if the consumer causes damage by incorrect handling and / or application of a guaranteed item.

Article 6.Defects; complaints procedure

Purchased goods have to be examined by the consumer as soon as possible upon receipt.
In doing so, the consumer must check whether the received Tulip Gift Cards meet the agreed quality requirements.

If a visible defect or shortcoming is found, the consumer must report this within 3 (three) days of receipt. The consumer is hereby obliged to strictly follow the instructions regarding storage and handling, otherwise, the liability expires.
